Participating in analysis of observations[br aria-hidden="true"]to develop insights. Designing solutions that leverage user insights.[br aria-hidden="true"]● Understanding motivations and drivers of partners and stakeholders to effectively design[br aria-hidden="true"]solutions within Verizon's business context and revenue model.[br aria-hidden="true"]● Identifying project needs and engaging stakeholders in conversation to fully understand[br aria-hidden="true"]needs.[br aria-hidden="true"]● Presenting work and engaging in constructive dialogue with stakeholders to understand[br aria-hidden="true"]the context of requirements and ensuring strong design rationale.[br aria-hidden="true"]● Persuasively presenting overall design solutions and rationale to Business partners and[br aria-hidden="true"]key stakeholders.[br aria-hidden="true"]What we're looking for:[br aria-hidden="true"]You're an expert design practitioner who grounds user-centered design solutions in product,[br aria-hidden="true"]tech and business strategies.

You excel in at least one core discipline, are able to work[br aria-hidden="true"]independently and deliver within deadlines. You demonstrate growth as an individual[br aria-hidden="true"]practitioner and facilitate the growth of your peers.[br aria-hidden="true"]Even better if you have:[br aria-hidden="true"]● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design[br aria-hidden="true"]● Portfolio is all professional work.[br aria-hidden="true"]● Contribution to multiple design programs or shipped products with a large user base.[br aria-hidden="true"]● Contribution to overall product success.[br aria-hidden="true"]● Experience designing across a variety of platforms, audiences, and domains.[br aria-hidden="true"]● Demonstrated in understanding of the broader business, technical, and customer[br aria-hidden="true"]context.[br aria-hidden="true"]Tools you'll use:[br aria-hidden="true"]● Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud tools, Sketch[br aria-hidden="true"]● Other creative tools[br aria-hidden="true"]Skills you'll need:[br aria-hidden="true"]● Core Design: User experience design (UX), interaction design, user interface design,[br aria-hidden="true"]information architecture and visualization, motion design, visual design, etc.[br aria-hidden="true"]● Soft Skills: Valuable articulation of thoughts and communication, good at negotiating[br aria-hidden="true"]and influencing, and creative at storytelling.
