Voice and Accent Trainer

Position Overview: The Voice and Accent Trainer will be responsible for coaching and developing the communication skills of our agents, ensuring they sound calm, composed, and natural on calls. The trainer will work closely with the operations and quality teams to identify training needs, design customized training programs, and provide ongoing support to agents, focusing on improving voice, accent, and overall communication effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive voice and accent training sessions for agents involved in outbound cold calling.
- Develop customized training modules to improve pronunciation, intonation, stress patterns, and overall fluency.




- Provide coaching on communication skills, including active listening, speech clarity, tone modulation, and maintaining composure during calls.
- Monitor and assess agents’ performance on calls, providing constructive feedback and actionable insights for improvement.
- Design and implement evaluation processes to track progress and measure the effectiveness of training programs.
- Collaborate with the operations and quality teams to identify areas of improvement and develop targeted training plans.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in voice and accent training and incorporate them into training programs.
- Conduct refresher training sessions to ensure continuous improvement and skill retention.
- Assist in the development of communication standards and guidelines for the team.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Voice and Accent Trainer, preferably in the BPO, lead generation, or call centre industry.
- Strong understanding of voice modulation, phonetics, and accent neutralization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with a clear, articulate speaking voice.
- Ability to coach and mentor individuals at various skill levels, from beginners to advanced.
- Familiarity with the challenges of outbound cold calling and strategies to overcome them.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with agents and team members.
- Certification in Voice and Accent Training or related fields is a plus.
