Location: Veerapandi, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

We are looking for a highly experienced VMC Setter cum Mastercam / SolidCAM Programmer with around 15 years of experience, preferably in aerospace component manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, set tools, and operate VMC machines for precision component manufacturing.
- Develop, simulate, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam or SolidCAM.
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, 3D models, and GD&T; requirements.
- Manufacture precision aerospace components with tight tolerances and excellent surface finish.
- Select cutting tools, fixtures, work-holding methods, and machining strategies.
- Perform first-piece inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy as per drawings.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize cycle time, tool life, and productivity.
- Maintain process documentation and follow quality and safety standards.
- Work closely with the quality and production teams to meet delivery schedules.

Candidate Requirements




- Approximately 15 years of hands-on experience in VMC setting and CNC programming.
- Strong proficiency in Mastercam or SolidCAM.
- Aerospace component machining experience is strongly preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
- Strong understanding of GD&T;, precision measurement instruments, and tight-tolerance machining.
- Ability to independently handle component setup, programming, prove-out, and production.
- Experience with aerospace quality requirements and traceability will be an advantage.
