Function: Business Development / Sales

We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional to drive its Electrical and IT Solutions business across the Eastern region. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in handling electrical and IT consultants, developing project opportunities, and securing product specifications for upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and map electrical consultants, IT consultants, EPCs and end customers across the Eastern region.
- Develop strong relationships with consultants to identify upcoming projects and position of solutions in project specifications.
- Drive specification selling and increase the number of projects featuring the products.
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve vertical business targets.
- Track project pipelines and coordinate with regional sales teams to convert specifications into revenue.
- Promote company's Electrical and IT Solutions product portfolio.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis and market share assessments.
- Identify product gaps and opportunities for product development, localization and cost optimization.
- Provide product knowledge and technical support to regional sales teams.
- Organize customer seminars and prepare case studies to strengthen market engagement.




- Prepare cost proposals and estimates for equipment, systems and related project requirements.
- Monitor market trends and industry requirements to identify new business opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, sales or specification selling.
- Proven experience handling electrical consultants, IT consultants and project stakeholders.
- Robust knowledge of low-voltage (LV) products and electrical applications.
- Experience in consultant-led project business and product specification.
- Good understanding of industry requirements and applicable compliance standards.
- Ability to identify upcoming projects and convert opportunities into business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- A postgraduate qualification in Sales, Marketing or Business Management will be an added advantage.
