Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Job Responsibilities

- Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines for precision component manufacturing.
- Perform tool setting, job setting, workpiece clamping, and fixture setting.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Understand CNC programs and make minor program edits as required.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, tool offsets, and machining parameters.
- Inspect components using measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and Height Gauges.
- Ensure components meet quality standards and production targets.
- Monitor machining operations and troubleshoot basic machine or machining issues.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S, safety, and preventive maintenance practices.




- Coordinate with the Quality and Production teams to ensure smooth production.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in VMC setting and operation.
- Knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Siemens.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T; basics.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, offsets, and machining processes.
- Strong focus on quality, productivity, and safety.
