S.-based structural engineering consulting firm, is expanding its remote engineering team in India. We are seeking experienced, independent, and dependable engineers and CAD drafters for the following positions. Applicants need experience in only ONE specialty. Experience in multiple specialties is a plus. 1. Main Structural Steel Connection Design Engineer
• Design bolted/welded connections, shear and moment connections, bracing connections, base plates, and anchorage.
• Prepare structural calculations and connection details using AISC standards.
• Interpret U.
S. structural drawings, specifications, and connection forces.
• Experience with simple through complex connection design projects. 2. Miscellaneous Metals Structural Design Engineer
• Design stairs, railings, ladders, platforms, equipment supports, and related connections/anchorage.
• Prepare structural calculations, plans, sections, and details.
• Familiarity with AISC, ASCE 7, IBC, and U.
S. construction practices. Main steel and miscellaneous metals are separate specialties. Experience in both is preferred but NOT required. 3. Building Structural Design & Evaluation Engineer
• Design steel-framed and/or wood-framed buildings, primarily small
- to medium-sized projects.
• Experience with new buildings, additions, renovations, and structural modifications.
• Perform gravity/lateral analysis, framing design, and basic foundation design.
• Evaluate existing buildings for additional loads, rooftop solar, and equipment.
• Prepare engineering calculations, sketches, and markups; coordinate and review construction drawings prepared by CAD drafters.
• Familiarity with U.
S. codes, including ASCE 7, AISC, IBC, and NDS. Important: Our focus is steel and wood framing—not RCC high-rise or concrete-framed building design, other than basic concrete foundations. 4.



Structural CAD Drafter – Building Construction Drawings
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong AutoCAD skills, including architectural Xrefs and drawing coordination.
• Independently prepare foundation plans, floor/roof framing plans, sections, and structural details from engineering design information.
• Review and coordinate architectural drawings with structural requirements.
• Experience preparing U.
S. building structural construction documents. NOT a Tekla/SDS/2 steel fabrication or shop drawing detailing position. Revit experience is a plus. General Qualifications
• Civil/Structural Engineering degree for engineering positions; relevant technical qualifications for CAD drafting.
• Preferably 4+ years of hands-on engineering design experience (3+ years for CAD drafting).
• Experience with U.
S. structural codes, drawings, and construction practices.
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.
• Strong technical judgment, accuracy, and attention to detail. Opportunities & Selection ProcessWe are primarily seeking long-term, full-time commitments, not occasional freelance support.
