Role Description The VMC Programmer role is a full time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role involves creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC/VMC programs for machining aluminum castings and components according to drawings and specifications. The professional in this role will set up and validate programs on machines, coordinate with production and quality teams, and ensure parts meet dimensional and surface finish requirements. Daily tasks include tool selection, fixture planning, cycle time improvement, troubleshooting machining issues, and maintaining accurate documentation of programs and process parameters.



The role also includes supporting continuous improvement initiatives, adhering to safety and quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet delivery schedules. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for creating, modifying, and maintaining CNC/VMC programs and related software tools.
• Candidates should possess skills in Computer Science and Software Development to understand program logic, data structures, and process automation relevant to machining operations.
• Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development if involved in internal tooling, dashboards, or database-driven systems supporting production and quality tracking.
• Relevant experience in CNC/VMC programming, G-code, CAM software (such as Mastercam, NX, or similar), and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to optimize machining parameters for quality and productivity.
• Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment, collaborate with shop-floor teams, and follow safety, quality, and 5S practices.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field; prior experience in automotive or industrial component manufacturing is an advantage.
