Role Description The Social Media Marketing Intern will support Sonar Sansar’s online presence by assisting in the planning, creation, and publishing of content across social media platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting posts, capturing and curating visuals of products and in-store activities, engaging with followers through comments and messages, and monitoring basic performance metrics. The intern will collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align social media campaigns with brand goals, product launches, and promotional activities. This is a full-time,



on-site role based in Haora, requiring consistent presence in the showroom to understand the brand, interact with the team, and generate authentic content. Qualifications
• Ability to demonstrate skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation, including familiarity with major platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp Business).
• Foundational knowledge of Digital Marketing and Marketing concepts, such as audience targeting, basic analytics, and campaign execution.
• Strong Communication skills, with clear written and verbal abilities for engaging online audiences and coordinating with internal teams.
• Creativity and visual sense for showcasing jewellery products, with basic skills in photography, video creation, or editing considered an advantage.
• Interest in fashion, jewellery, or retail sectors, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Comfort working on-site in Haora and collaborating with a diverse team in a qualified showroom setting.
