Why This Role Is Different We are building a technology-driven HR function on the Zoho ecosystem: Recruit, People, Payroll and Sign. Some of it is already running; you will help us finish building the rest. We need someone who owns these systems (configuring workflows, closing data gaps, fixing what is broken), not someone who treats Zoho as an afterthought. We also want an HR professional who uses AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude as a daily productivity habit, not just a line on a resume. Zoho Tools You Will Own
• Zoho Recruit (Mandatory, hands-on): job postings, candidate pipelines, blueprints, interview scheduling, offer letters, recruitment dashboards
• Zoho People (Mandatory, hands-on): employee records, onboarding, attendance, leave, HR workflows and reports
• Zoho Payroll (Nice-to-have): payroll inputs and statutory coordination (PF/ESI/PT/TDS) with Accounts
• Zoho Sign (Nice-to-have): offer/appointment letters, NDAs and policies via e-signature; template management
• Zoho Forms, Flow, Analytics / CRM (Preferred): joining and exit forms, automation between Zoho apps, HR dashboards and hiring-source analysis

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
• Own full-cycle recruitment in Zoho Recruit: sourcing → screening → interviews → offer → onboarding
• Manage 15–20 open roles at once (Field Sales Engineers across AP, TN, Karnataka and Maharashtra, plus office staff)
• Source via Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed,



Apna, referrals and regional job boards
• Track and report time-to-fill, offer-to-join ratio and hiring volume, not just resume count
• Keep the WhatsApp candidate notification flow (Zapier → Picky Assist) running smoothly HR Operations (Zoho People)
• Drive onboarding and induction, including documentation and system access
• Maintain accurate employee records, attendance and leave data that feed payroll and reporting
• Set up and refine HR workflows and approval chains as the team grows Payroll, Compliance & Documentation
• Coordinate with Accounts and payroll consultants on PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Bonus and TDS/Form-16 compliance
• Manage the Zoho Sign template library for offer letters, appointment letters and HR policies
• Track signing status and close pending documents on time AI-Powered HR
• Use AI for JD creation, screening questions, interview prep, policy drafting and MIS summaries
• Bring at least one HR process improvement or automation idea every quarter HR Generalist & Policy
• Maintain HR policies, the employee handbook and SOPs
• Run performance reviews (KPIs/KRAs) on quarterly or annual cycles
• Handle employee grievances and support conflict resolution
• Plan engagement activities and coordinate training How Success Is Measured
• Recruitment tracker updated daily
• 100% of new joiners onboarded digitally via Zoho Sign
• Attendance and leave reconciled monthly in Zoho People
• Payroll inputs finalized before the 1st of each month
• Offer-to-joining ratio tracked and reported monthly
• At least one HR process improvement or automation per quarter What You Need Must-Have
• 2–5 years in recruitment and HR generalist roles
• Proven hands-on experience with Zoho Recruit and Zoho People (be ready to show real usage)




• End-to-end recruitment results you can discuss: volume, time-to-fill, sourcing performance
• Working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS)
• Regular, practical use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude or similar) in HR work
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills for reporting and tracking
• Excellent communication; you will coordinate directly with field managers across states
• A learning mindset: comfortable picking up recent Zoho apps and AI tools Nice-to-Have
• Zoho Payroll and Zoho Sign experience
• Experience hiring field sales or distributed sales teams
• Exposure to Zoho Forms, Flow, Analytics or CRM Education
• Bachelor's or Master's in HR, Business Administration or a related field (MBA-HR preferred) This Role Is NOT a Fit If You...
• Have only traditional HR admin experience with no HR software exposure
• Know Zoho only in theory, or use Excel as your main HR system
• Rarely or never use AI tools at work
• Prefer payroll/documentation-only work with no interest in recruitment
• Need constant supervision or are uncomfortable with hiring targets
