Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee foundation, civil, structural, and construction engineering activities for substation and infrastructure projects.

- Review, verify, and approve subcontractors’ structural calculations, engineering designs, and technical drawings.

- Provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, codes, project specifications, and safety requirements.

- Supervise the preparation and review of substation layout drawings, sectional drawings, foundation designs, and structural details.

- Oversee engineering design activities using software packages such as AutoCAD, RISA, STAAD.Pro, TEEDS, and RetainPro.

- Coordinate with project management, design teams, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project execution.

- Monitor design quality, technical accuracy, project progress, and adherence to established deadlines.

- Identify and resolve complex engineering and construction challenges while optimizing design solutions, cost, quality, and efficiency.

- Provide strategic direction, technical guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams.

- Ensure effective resource planning, risk management,



and continuous improvement in engineering and construction processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Strong knowledge of concrete technology, foundation engineering, structural analysis, and building design principles.

- Extensive understanding of engineering design documents, technical specifications, construction drawings, and project execution requirements.

- Proven expertise in reviewing and approving structural calculations, design reports, substation layouts, and sectional drawings.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, RISA, STAAD.Pro, TEEDS, RetainPro, and other relevant engineering design tools.

- Strong theoretical, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent leadership, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to work independently, lead multidisciplinary teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver projects within established timelines.
