Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tax Supervisor with strong expertise in US taxation, complex tax return preparation, tax planning, and client advisory. This opportunity is ideal for professionals looking to move beyond routine compliance into strategic tax advisory, client interaction, and long-term skilled growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare complex US individual tax returns (Form 1040) and business entity returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, and 1065).
- Develop tax plans, projections, and shareholder payroll strategies.
- Explain tax returns, tax strategies, and payroll plans directly to clients.
- Resolve federal and state tax notices and other tax-related issues.
- Research complex tax matters, leverage AI tools, and prepare technical tax memos.
- Advise clients on tax-saving strategies, business taxation, and rental property taxation.
- Support client onboarding, advisory engagements, and business development meetings.
- Progressively take ownership of tax return reviews and advisory assignments.

Required Skills & Qualifications Active CPA, EA, or CA qualification/license.

Minimum 35 years of experience in US tax return preparation within a public accounting environment.





Strong knowledge of Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.

Excellent English communication and client-facing skills.

Practical understanding of US tax planning, business taxation, and rental property taxation.

Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and tax notice resolution.

Willingness to adopt AI tools for tax research, preparation, review, and automation.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Thomson Reuters UltraTax and SurePrep.
- Multi-state taxation, nexus, and apportionment.
- Tax advisory, business consulting, and tax planning experience.
