We are looking for a skilled and technically competent UPS Service Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of UPS systems,

inverters, batteries, and voltage stabilizers. The candidate should be capable of independently attending customer sites, diagnosing technical faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring reliable operation of power backup equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installation & Commissioning

● Install and commission online UPS systems, inverter systems, batteries, and voltage stabilizers. ● Perform electrical wiring, cable termination, battery bank connections, and system testing.

● Ensure installations comply with technical specifications and safety standards.

1. Preventive Maintenance (PM)

● Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance of UPS systems, inverters, batteries, and stabilizers. ● Inspect battery banks, electrical connections, cooling fans, filters, and other critical components.

● Check input/output voltage, current, battery charging voltage, and overall system performance.

● Prepare and submit preventive maintenance reports to customers and the service team.

1. Breakdown & Troubleshooting

● Attend customer breakdown calls and identify faults in UPS systems and related equipment.



● Diagnose faults in rectifiers, inverters, chargers, control cards, power modules, and battery circuits.

● Troubleshoot issues related to alarms, battery failures, overheating, and abnormal input/output conditions.

● Perform component-level or module-level repairs, depending on the equipment and technical capability.

● Coordinate with OEM technical support for complex faults whenever required.

1. Battery Maintenance

● Inspect and test SMF/VRLA batteries and battery banks. ● Identify weak or faulty batteries using appropriate testing equipment.

● Check battery voltage, charging parameters, terminal connections, and battery backup performance.

● Perform battery replacement and installation as required.

1. Customer Service & Documentation

● Attend customer sites for installation, preventive maintenance, and breakdown complaints. ● Maintain service reports, breakdown records, installation checklists, and customer feedback.

● Explain equipment faults and provide technical recommendations to customers.

● Coordinate with the service coordinator and report job status, spare requirements, and pending issues on time.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
