MedAorticX HealthTek is looking for motivated and detail-oriented Trainee HCC Coders to join our team. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of HCC coding experience and hold a valid CPC or CRC certification.

Key Responsibilities

- Review medical records and clinical documentation for accurate HCC coding.
- Identify and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM codes for Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC).
- Review chronic conditions and relevant comorbidities for accurate risk adjustment coding.
- Follow applicable CMS guidelines and risk adjustment coding standards.
- Identify documentation gaps and maintain coding accuracy and compliance.
- Meet established coding quality and productivity standards.

Eligibility Criteria
- Role: Trainee HCC Coder
- Experience:



Minimum 6 months of HCC coding experience.
- Certification: CPC or CRC certification is mandatory.
- Knowledge: Understanding of ICD-10-CM, HCC coding, and risk adjustment concepts.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of medical terminology.
