Weavers India is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Textile Designer to develop original designs for home furnishing products, including rugs, carpets, bath mats and other home textiles. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of patterns, colours, textures and production-ready artwork, with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and NedGraphics.

Key Responsibilities

- Create original textile patterns, motifs and coordinated collections based on design briefs and market trends.
- Develop designs for printed, woven, knitted and tufted home furnishing products.
- Use Adobe Photoshop and NedGraphics to create repeat patterns, colourways, design variations and product mockups.
- Prepare production-ready artwork with accurate dimensions, resolution, repeats and colour separations.
- Adapt designs to different product sizes while maintaining proportions, borders and pattern placement.
- Develop mood boards and colour palettes suited to Indian and international markets.
- Work closely with merchandising, sampling and production teams to ensure designs translate accurately into finished products.
- Review samples,



suggest corrections and follow through on colour, texture and pattern adjustments.
- Maintain an organised archive of artwork, colourways and approved design files.
- Ensure designs are original and meet quality standards and development timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Textile Design, Surface Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and NedGraphics.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating textile patterns, repeat development and colour coordination.
- Understanding of textile construction, printing techniques and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to convert creative concepts into commercially suitable designs.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills and time management.

Preferred Experience
- Experience designing home furnishings, particularly rugs, carpets and bath mats.
- Knowledge of jacquard design, knitted textiles, tufting or digital textile printing.
- Experience working with production teams and developing coordinated product collections.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
