Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Software Tester / QA Engineer to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications. The candidate should have experience in test planning, test case preparation, defect tracking, and functional and regression testing.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business and technical requirements to understand application functionality.

Prepare and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing.

Identify, document, track, and report software defects.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to resolve issues.

Conduct retesting and validate defect fixes.

Participate in test reviews and ensure quality standards are met.

Prepare test execution reports and maintain testing documentation.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation.





Ensure applications meet business requirements and quality expectations.

Defect Tracking Tools such as Jira or Bugzilla

SDLC and STLC Knowledge

Agile / Scrum Methodology

Basic SQL and Database Testing

Positive Communication and Team Collaboration

Preferred Skills Automation Testing using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

API Testing using Postman or REST Assured

Performance Testing using JMeter

CI/CD and basic testing integration knowledge

Educational Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant software testing certification is an advantage.

Experience Experience in manual testing and quality assurance.

Knowledge of test management and defect lifecycle processes.
