We are looking for an experienced

Test Lead – Guidewire to lead testing activities for Guidewire releases, ensuring high-quality delivery across functional, integration, and end-to-end testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in

Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter

, along with proven experience in test planning, execution management, defect resolution, and release risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day testing activities for Guidewire releases, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and project objectives.

- Coordinate testing teams, allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of testing deliverables.

- Drive functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for Guidewire applications.

- Validate integrations through API testing and database validation to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.

- Prepare and manage test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution reports.

- Perform test estimation, resource planning, execution tracking, and test coverage analysis.

- Manage defect lifecycle activities, including defect logging, prioritization, triage, retesting, and closure.

- Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability and ensure adequate test coverage.

- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and clarify requirements.

- Identify, assess, and communicate testing risks, dependencies,



and quality concerns to stakeholders.

- Prepare regular test status reports, quality metrics, and release readiness assessments.

- Support release sign-off by ensuring critical defects are addressed and exit criteria are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience:

8–10 years of experience in software testing, with relevant experience in a test leadership role.

- Strong knowledge of

Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter

.

- Proven experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

- Hands-on experience with API testing and database validation, including SQL queries.

- Solid understanding of test planning, estimation, execution management, and defect triage.

- Experience in test traceability, test coverage analysis, and defect lifecycle management.

- Ability to coordinate multiple testers and manage testing activities across releases.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using test management and defect tracking tools.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Guidewire implementation, upgrades, or production releases.

- Familiarity with Guidewire integrations and insurance business processes.

- Experience with tools such as Jira, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, Postman, or similar testing platforms.

- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and test automation concepts is an advantage.
