ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Manager – Tenders to manage government tenders for irrigation and water resources projects, ensuring compliant bid preparation, timely submissions and effective coordination to support business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Tender Identification & Tracking

- Monitor GeM, CPPP and State e-procurement portals for relevant tenders.
- Identify opportunities in irrigation, water resources, pipelines, pumping systems and Center Pivot Irrigation Systems.
- Maintain tender trackers, deadlines and bid status.

B. Tender Evaluation & Bid Strategy
- Review tender documents, BOQs, eligibility criteria, EMD and commercial terms.
- Conduct bid/no-bid assessments and highlight risks for management approval.
- Prepare tender summaries and recommendations.

C. Bid Preparation & Submission
- Prepare technical and commercial bids, compliance statements and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with technical, finance, legal, procurement and business development teams.
- Ensure accurate, compliant and timely online bid submissions.

D. Government & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate pre-bid meetings, clarifications and queries with tendering authorities.
- Track amendments, corrigenda, bid openings and evaluation results.

E. Post-Tender Support
- Track tender outcomes, awards and Letters of Acceptance.




- Support rate analysis, commercial proposals and post-award formalities.
- Maintain tender pipeline reports and monitor bid success rates.

1. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil or Mechanical.
- 4–5 years of experience in tendering and bid management in irrigation, infrastructure, water resources or EPC projects.
- Hands-on experience with government tenders, e-procurement portals and techno-commercial bids.
- Proficiency in GeM, CPPP, State e-tendering portals and MS Office.

- Robust analytical, documentation and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of tender eligibility, EMD, PBG, BOQ and commercial terms.
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
- Proactive approach to opportunity identification and timely bid submission.

Preferred Industry: Irrigation, Water Resources, Infrastructure, EPC Projects, Water Management and Government Contracting.
