Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong experience in the Asset Management industry, hands-on expertise in Jira, and good working knowledge of SQL. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end technology projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering technology solutions supporting investment management and financial services operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end technology project delivery within the asset management domain.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, portfolio management teams, investment operations, developers, QA, and data teams.
- Use Jira to manage project plans, backlogs, sprint activities, workflows, dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones.
- Use SQL to perform data validation, analyze datasets, investigate discrepancies, and support reporting requirements.
- Coordinate Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, issues, and stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee requirements gathering, technical documentation, UAT, system integration, and production releases.




- Track project progress and provide regular status reports to senior management.
- Ensure timely delivery of technology initiatives supporting investment, portfolio management, trading, and financial data systems.

Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or IT Project Manager.
- Mandatory experience in Asset Management within the financial services domain.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira for project tracking, sprint management, dashboards, and issue management.
- Valuable working knowledge of SQL, including joins, subqueries, aggregations, and data validation.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
- Experience managing technical teams, stakeholders, project risks, and dependencies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with portfolio management systems, investment operations, trading platforms, or market data systems.
- Exposure to financial data integration, reporting, and data migration projects.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master certification is an advantage.
