Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Colour Executive with strong expertise in automotive refinish colour matching, colour formulation, OEM colour development, and technical customer support. The candidate will be responsible for colour development, quality control, production support, customer complaint resolution, and technical training.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform automotive refinish colour matching, formulation, and shade development.
- Handle OEM colour development and colour matching for plastic and wood coatings.
- Provide technical support to customers and resolve product and colour-related complaints at customer sites.
- Support production teams in colour approval, quality checks, and colour release processes.
- Develop and validate colours using pigments, metallic aluminium pastes, pearl pigments, and spectrophotometers.
- Conduct colour quality analysis of toners, swatches, standard panels, and finished products.
- Manage colour standards, metal cut-outs,



formulation records, and colour database/software entries.
- Conduct technical training for customers, sales teams, and application personnel.
- Support current product launches, market development, and international business operations where required.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of automotive refinish paints and colour matching techniques.
- Hands-on experience in colour formulation, shade correction, and pigment selection.
- Knowledge of spectrophotometers and colour measurement systems.
- Experience in technical customer service, complaint handling, and paint application.
- Understanding of paint quality control, production support, and colour development processes.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and team-training skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in automotive refinish paint companies, paint manufacturers, or coatings R&D; and technical service departments will be preferred. Experience with OEM colour development and customer-facing technical sales support will be an added advantage.
