Position Overview

We are seeking a technically strong and forward-thinking Technical Architect to support architectural and engineering design delivery, BIM coordination, drawing reviews, and site execution alignment across AEC projects. The role combines hands-on design capability with practical site understanding and an interest in exploring emerging AI tools for better quality, speed, and coordination.

This position is ideal for a B.Arch graduate or Civil Engineer who has worked on drawings and BIM, understands how designs translate into site execution, and is eager to experiment with current digital approaches.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and Drawing Management

- Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural/engineering drawings, layouts, details, and drawing packages.
- Check drawings for completeness, constructability, consistency, and alignment with project requirements.
- Coordinate revisions, drawing registers, and timely issue of approved deliverables.

1. BIM and Digital Coordination

- Work with BIM models and multidisciplinary teams to identify clashes and coordination gaps.
- Support model-based reviews, drawing extraction, and consistent design documentation.
- Help improve BIM standards, model quality, and digital collaboration practices.

1. Site Coordination and Constructability

- Visit project sites to understand execution challenges and validate design intent.
- Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and contractors to resolve drawing-related queries.
- Review site feedback, RFIs, and as-built requirements; incorporate practical lessons into design.

1. AI Exploration and Process Innovation

- Explore AI-enabled tools for design research, documentation, visualization,



quality checks, and workflow efficiency.
- Pilot useful digital or AI applications with appropriate human review and data confidentiality.
- Identify repetitive tasks that can be simplified through templates, automation, or improved workflows.

1. Technical Quality and Stakeholder Coordination

- Participate in interdisciplinary reviews and track technical issues to closure.
- Support compliance with applicable codes, client requirements, and internal design standards.
- Communicate technical decisions clearly and maintain organized project records.

Required Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in architectural/engineering drawings and understanding of BIM workflows.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM tools such as Revit; exposure to Navisworks or similar tools is advantageous.
- Practical understanding of site execution, detailing, and constructability.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn AI tools; prior AI implementation is not mandatory.
- Strong coordination, analytical thinking, ownership, and communication skills.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience
- Relevant experience in architectural/engineering design, drawing coordination, and BIM-related work.
- Hands-on project site experience is mandatory.
- Experience with multidisciplinary AEC design teams will be an advantage.
