We are looking for a seasoned taxation professional to lead our taxation function as Head of Taxation on a Full time Retainer basis.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the Indian taxation landscape, with a balanced and strong background in both

Direct Taxation (DT) and Indirect Taxation (IDT).

Key Requirements

- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Final qualification mandatory.
- Experience: 18+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Tax Expertise: 50% Direct Taxation (DT) and 50% Indirect Taxation (IDT).
- Engagement Model: Full time Retainer.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, regulatory frameworks, compliance, tax planning, litigation, and risk management.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead taxation functions, manage tax authorities, advise senior stakeholders, and drive tax efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies and optimization initiatives.
- Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, assessments, audits, litigation,



and reporting.
- Ensure adherence to applicable Indian tax laws and regulatory requirements.
- Manage tax risks, internal controls, tax provisions, and deferred tax calculations under Ind AS/IFRS.
- Provide strategic tax advisory on business transactions, contracts, and organizational initiatives.
- Lead and mentor the taxation team while collaborating with Finance, Legal, and other business functions.

Ideal Candidate Profile We are seeking a result-oriented taxation leader with 18+ years of post-qualification experience and a balanced 50:50 expertise in Direct and Indirect Taxation, who is comfortable working on a full-time retainer engagement and can provide strategic as well as hands-on tax leadership.
