Role Description The System Programmer role at PInterview is a full time remote position responsible for maintaining and enhancing the platform’s core systems and infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include designing, implementing, and optimizing system-level code, ensuring stable integration with operating systems, and improving performance and reliability.

The System

Programmer will diagnose and resolve technical issues, collaborate with developers and support teams to troubleshoot system problems, and contribute to automation and monitoring tools. This role also involves documenting system configurations, following best practices for security and scalability,



and supporting the continuous improvement of PInterview’s online interview services.

Qualifications

- Strong Systems Programming skills with experience in low-level Programming (e.g., C, C++, Rust) and understanding of system architecture.
- Solid knowledge of Operating Systems concepts (process management, memory, concurrency, networking) and practical experience working with Linux/Unix-based environments.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting complex system issues, including performance bottlenecks, reliability problems, and integration errors.
- Experience providing Technical Support for system-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and improve platform stability.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), build and deployment tools, and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on secure, maintainable code.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms or distributed systems, and interest in edtech or career development solutions is a plus.
