Role Description The System Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based at Pallavi International School, Bachupally in Hyderabad. The role involves managing and maintaining the school’s IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices to ensure reliable performance and data security. Daily tasks include monitoring system health, applying updates and patches, performing backups, and managing user accounts and access permissions.

The System

Administrator will provide technical support to staff and students, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, and escalate complex problems to vendors or senior IT personnel when needed. The role also includes overseeing basic network administration activities,



supporting classroom technology, documenting IT procedures, and contributing to the planning and implementation of technology improvements across the campus.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong System Administration skills, including OS installation, configuration, patching, and routine maintenance.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software issues for end users.
- Candidates should possess Network Administration skills such as basic routing and switching, Wi-Fi management, and monitoring network performance.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Information Technology, including understanding of security best practices, backups, and asset management.
- Relevant skills such as familiarity with school or educational IT environments, experience with Windows and common office productivity tools, and knowledge of antivirus and endpoint security solutions are beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 2–4 years of experience in a similar role, is preferred.
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with academic and administrative staff, and a commitment to data privacy and safety are important.
