Job Title: EDP / IT In-Charge (Hardware)

Job Responsibilities

- Hardware Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral-related issues promptly.
- Network Management: Maintain LAN, internet connectivity, network devices, and related infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Operating System and Software Installation: Install, configure, update, and maintain operating systems, drivers, antivirus software, and other required applications.
- IT Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, hardware inventory, equipment allocation, repairs, and replacements.
- User Support: Provide technical assistance to employees across all departments and ensure timely resolution of IT-related issues.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware repairs, warranty claims, maintenance, and equipment procurement.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, updates, and system health checks to ensure reliable performance.
- Data Backup and Security: Support data backup procedures,



antivirus protection, access control, and basic IT security practices.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of IT complaints, service activities, equipment repairs, and maintenance schedules.
- Operational Continuity: Ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all computer systems and IT equipment with minimal downtime.

Key Skills and Competencies

- Knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of LAN, TCP/IP, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.
- Experience with Windows operating systems, drivers, and software installation.
- Knowledge of IT inventory management and preventive maintenance.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to provide timely technical support to multiple departments.

Overall Objective To ensure the reliable, secure, and uninterrupted operation of the organization's computer systems, hardware, and network infrastructure while providing effective technical support to all departments. Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹40,000.55 per month
