1. Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) with 5–8 years of experience in a manufacturing workplace to manage supplier quality, conduct supplier assessments, develop supplier manufacturing capabilities, and drive continuous quality improvement & ensuring delivery timelines are met.

The role requires a hands-on approach, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently at supplier locations. Role will perform supplier assessments, audits, development activities, problem solving, and quality improvement.

2. Key Responsibilities

Assess supplier capability for machining, fabrication, forging, casting, heat treatment, welding, surface treatment, and other manufacturing processes as applicable.

· Develop suppliers to achieve required quality, process capability, and delivery performance.





· Support suppliers in establishing robust manufacturing and inspection processes.

· Monitor supplier improvement plans and verify effectiveness.

· Lead 8D, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, and other structured problem- solving activities.

· The candidate should have good hands-on knowledge of measurement and inspection equipment used in manufacturing.

· Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; requirements.

· Good knowledge of PPAP documentation & APQP.

· Exposure to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 requirements is preferred.

· Good understanding of materials, heat treatment, welding, dimensional control, and metallurgical testing.

· The candidate must possess strong communication skills and be able to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
