Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day heavy fabrication activities, including cutting, grinding, fitting, welding coordination, and assembly.

- Allocate work to operators, fabricators, welders, and helpers according to production requirements.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and measurements.

- Monitor production output, quality, and adherence to the production schedule.

- Ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

- Coordinate with Quality, Production Planning, Stores, and Maintenance teams.

- Monitor material utilization and minimize fabrication scrap and rework.

- Maintain daily production reports, manpower attendance, and job completion records.

- Ensure compliance with factory safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.

1. Required Skills

- Knowledge of fabrication processes and shop-floor supervision.

- Ability to read mechanical drawings.

- Basic understanding of welding, cutting, grinding, and measurement tools.

- Manpower handling and production coordination.

- Problem-solving and communication skills.
