Role Description This is a full-time, in office Student Counselor role based in Kozhikode.

The Student

Counselor will guide prospective students and families through the study abroad process, including understanding their academic background, interests, and career goals, and recommending suitable countries, universities, and programs. The role involves conducting counseling sessions, providing information on admission requirements, visa procedures, scholarships, and financial planning, and maintaining accurate records of student interactions and application status.

Counselor will coordinate with internal teams to manage documentation, follow up on applications,



and ensure timely communication and support throughout the admission and pre-departure phases. The role also includes participation in outreach activities such as seminars, events, and digital campaigns to attract and support students seeking international education opportunities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners in choosing appropriate courses and destinations.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication for counseling sessions, presentations, and documentation.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to provide responsive, supportive, and professional assistance to students and families.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Education systems, especially international study options, admission processes, and visa requirements.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Management, or a related field; prior experience in study abroad consulting or academic advising is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, manage multiple student cases simultaneously, and use common office and CRM software tools efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail in handling documents, and a commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory guidance.
