JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Engineer to support the development of cutting-edge Hot Aisle Containment (HAC) systems and structural solutions for data centre infrastructure.

The candidate will independently handle structural design, seismic analysis, material selection, engineering validation and client/consultant approvals, while working closely with product development, BIM, manufacturing and execution teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Structural Design: Independently perform structural modeling,



load calculations and design validation using STAAD.Pro for steel and aluminium structures, including cold-formed sections.
- Seismic Engineering: Perform seismic analysis, design bracing and restraint systems, and validate structural stability under applicable earthquake loading conditions.
- Anchorage & Connections: Design and verify post-installed anchors, base plates, bolted/welded connections and concrete interfaces, including tension, shear, breakout and seismic requirements.
- Product Development: Engineer and optimize ceiling-supported, floor-supported and hybrid HAC frameworks, modular support systems and structural ceiling assemblies.
- Material Engineering: Select and validate steel and aluminium grades, hollow sections, tubes, section properties and mechanical characteristics, with emphasis on strength, manufacturability and cost optimization.
- Client Approvals: Prepare structural calculation reports, coordinate directly with clients and consultants, address technical observations and secure design approvals.
- Engineering Coordination: Collaborate with BIM, fabrication and execution teams to ensure designs are accurately translated into manufacturing and installation drawings.

Qualification and Experience:

- Software Skills
- Mandatory: STAAD.Pro (advanced), AutoCAD, MS Excel
- Preferred: Revit, Navisworks
- Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant structural design and engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in steel and Aluminum structures, seismic calculations and structural connections.
- Ability to independently prepare structural calculation packages and manage consultant approvals.
- Experience in modular structures, industrial EPC, prefabricated systems or data centre infrastructure preferred.
- Strong analytical, technical documentation and client coordination skills.
- Mechanical Engineers are equally encouraged to apply, provided they possess the required structural engineering expertise.
