Department:Store Incharge Industry:Manufacturing / Plastic Injection Moulding

Job Summary Responsible for managing all store activities, including inward material receipts, outward material dispatches, inventory control, stock verification, documentation, and coordination with purchase, production, accounts, and logistics departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inward Material Management

* Receive raw materials, spare parts, tools, consumables, and other incoming materials.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices, and packing lists.
- Check material quantity, identification, and visible condition.
- Coordinate with the quality department for material inspection and approval.

Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN). Update inward entries in the ERP system or inventory register.

- Report shortages, excess quantities, damages, and discrepancies to the concerned departments.

1. Outward Material Management

* Issue materials to production and other departments against authorized material requisitions.
- Prepare delivery challans, material issue slips, and dispatch documents.
- Verify quantities and item details before dispatch.
- Coordinate with logistics and transporters for material movement.
- Maintain records of returned materials, rejected materials, and scrap movement.
- Ensure all outward transactions are properly approved and documented.

1. Inventory & Stock Control

* Maintain accurate stock records and bin locations.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile differences.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and inform the purchase department about replenishment requirements.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) wherever applicable.
- Prevent material loss, damage, misuse,



and unauthorized movement.
- Maintain proper storage, identification, and housekeeping of materials.

1. Documentation & Reporting

* Maintain inward and outward registers, GRNs, stock registers, and material issue records.
- Prepare daily stock movement and inventory reports.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and accounts reconciliation.
- Ensure accurate data entry in Tally, ERP, or other inventory management software.

1. Coordination & Team Management

* Coordinate with purchase, production, quality, accounts, HR, and dispatch teams.
- Supervise store assistants, helpers, and material handlers.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and workplace safety requirements.

Required Skills * Knowledge of inward and outward material processes.
- Inventory management and stock reconciliation.
- Basic knowledge of purchase orders, invoices, delivery challans, and GRN.
- Knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, or ERP inventory systems.

Valuable documentation, communication, and coordination skills.

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualification: B.Com, BBA, or any relevant degree/diploma.

Experience: 1–3 years in stores, inventory, or warehouse operations preferred.

Preferred industry: Manufacturing, engineering, or plastic injection moulding.

- Accuracy of stock records.
- Timely inward and outward processing.
- Reduction in stock discrepancies and material losses.
- Proper maintenance of store documentation.
- Timely material availability for production.
- Compliance with inventory and safety procedures.
