Key Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and verify construction materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.

- Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing materials, tools, equipment, and consumables.

- Monitor stock levels and ensure the timely availability of materials for site activities.

- Maintain accurate stock registers, inventory reports, and material issue records.

- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, purchase, and accounts teams for material requirements.

- Ensure proper storage, identification, and safety of materials in the store.

- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.

- Prepare Material Receipt Notes (MRN/GRN), Material Issue Notes, and stock statements.

- Monitor material wastage, damage, and shortages and report discrepancies to the concerned authority.

- Track the movement of tools and equipment and maintain records of materials issued to employees or subcontractors.

- Ensure housekeeping, safety, and systematic arrangement of the store.

- Assist in preparing monthly inventory reports and material consumption statements.
