We are looking for a passionate and responsible STEAM Instructor & Innovation Lab In-Charge to manage and deliver practical technology education at Scholars Ark International School, Tiruppur, where TECH SEI LAB has installed a dedicated technology lab.

Job Summary The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting engaging STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) sessions for school students, managing daily lab operations, maintaining equipment, and guiding students through hands-on technology projects.

The ideal candidate should enjoy working with children, have a practical understanding of technology, and be capable of independently managing a school technology lab while maintaining TECH SEI LAB's standards for learning quality, safety, and student engagement.

Key Responsibilities1. STEAM Teaching & Student Training

- Conduct hands-on STEAM sessions for school students according to the assigned curriculum and timetable.
- Teach age-appropriate concepts in electronics, robotics, coding, engineering design, and applied science.
- Guide students in building practical projects such as electronic devices, smart systems, robots, and simple engineering models.
- Explain scientific and mathematical concepts through practical demonstrations and real-world applications.
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving, logical thinking, experimentation, and innovation.
- Adapt teaching methods to different age groups and learning abilities.
- Assess student learning, maintain progress records, and provide constructive feedback.

1. Technology Lab Management

- Take complete responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the TECH SEI LAB-installed STEAM lab at Scholars Ark International School.
- Maintain lab equipment, electronics components, robotics kits, computers, tools, and learning materials.




- Ensure that all equipment is organized, functional, and ready before each session.
- Maintain inventory, issue and return records, and report damaged or missing materials.
- Ensure students follow laboratory safety procedures and use tools responsibly.
- Keep the lab clean, organized, and ready for practical activities.
- Report technical issues, equipment requirements, and maintenance needs to the TECH SEI LAB team.

1. Project Development & Innovation

- Mentor students in designing, building, testing, and improving technology-based products.
- Support student participation in exhibitions, innovation challenges, science fairs, and project demonstrations.
- Encourage students to identify everyday problems and develop practical technology-based solutions.
- Assist in preparing project demonstrations and documenting student work.
- Support the implementation of recent STEAM activities, learning modules, and technology projects.

1. School Coordination & Reporting

- Coordinate professionally with the school's teachers, coordinators, and management.
- Follow the assigned school timetable, academic calendar, and institutional policies.
- Maintain attendance, session reports, student assessment records, and project documentation.
- Share regular updates on student participation, learning outcomes, lab status, and resource requirements with TECH SEI LAB.
- Support school-level technology events, demonstrations, workshops, and parent-facing project showcases when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Electronics, Robotics, or a related field.
- Freshers with strong technical fundamentals and teaching interest are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of electronics, sensors, microcontrollers, robotics, or programming.
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to school students.
- Patience, creativity, classroom management skills, and a responsible attitude.
- Willingness to conduct practical sessions and learn new technologies.
- Ability to independently manage a lab and maintain proper records.




- Proficiency in Tamil and working knowledge of English are preferred. Experience Requirements
- Candidates with relevant experience in STEAM education, robotics, electronics, coding, or technology lab management will be given priority.
- Freshers with strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine interest in teaching are welcome to apply.
- Candidates must be confident in explaining technical concepts to school students and conducting hands-on practical sessions.
- Practical project experience, problem-solving ability, classroom management, and willingness to learn new technologies will be an advantage.Preferred Technical Skills

Knowledge of one or more of the following will be an advantage:
- Robotics and Arduino-based projects
- Electronics, sensors, circuits, and embedded systems
- Scratch, block-based coding, or Python
- IoT and automation projects
- 3D printing and basic 3D design
- Science models and engineering design activities
- Computer operation and basic troubleshooting

Candidates are not expected to be experts in every technology. A strong foundation, willingness to learn, and the ability to teach practical concepts are essential. Key Performance Expectations The selected employee will be evaluated on:
