GMC Consumer Brands is looking for a energetic and results-oriented State Business Director (SBD) to drive sales, distribution, and business growth across Tricity ( Chandigarh )

Key Responsibilities

- Handle state-level sales, distribution, and overall business growth across all product categories.
- Appoint, develop, and manage distributors and channel partners across the state.
- Drive payment follow-ups, manage outstanding receivables, and ensure timely collection of market dues.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the team of Area Business Managers (ABMs).
- Set sales targets, review performance, and drive effective market execution.
- Expand distribution, increase outlet coverage, and drive secondary sales across all assigned product categories.
- Manage trade schemes, collections, stock rotation, and distributor profitability.
- Monitor competition and identify new business opportunities to strengthen the company's market position.




- Conduct regular market visits and distributor meetings to ensure strong field execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other channel partners.
- Review sales performance and ensure achievement of state-level business targets

Candidate Profile

- Experience: 10+ years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in General Trade.
- Strong distributor network-building and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- Highly target-oriented, commercially sharp, and field-driven.
- Experience in conducting regular market visits, distributor reviews, and sales performance reviews.
- Ability to drive distribution expansion, improve outlet coverage, and manage sales teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of FMCG sales operations, channel development, and market execution
