Staff Nurse Job Summary: Responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients, monitoring their health conditions, administering medications as prescribed, and ensuring patient safety in accordance with hospital policies and clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide direct nursing care to patients as per prescribed treatment plans.

- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to the treating physician.
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, patient charts, and documentation.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency situations.
- Ensure proper patient identification, medication safety, and infection control practices.
- Follow hospital policies, SOPs, and NABH quality and patient safety standards.
- Educate patients and their bystanders regarding treatment, medication, and discharge instructions.
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Ensure proper handover of patients during shift changes.




- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records.
- Ensure proper handling of medical equipment and report any malfunction.
- Participate in training programmes, audits, and quality improvement activities.
- Report incidents, adverse events, and patient safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and skilled conduct in the assigned department.

Qualifications

- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council registration.
- Previous hospital experience preferred; freshers may be considered based on hospital requirements.

Reporting To: Nursing Supervisor / Nursing In-Charge Department: Nursing Services Key Competencies: Clinical knowledge, communication skills, patient care, teamwork, time management, documentation, infection control, and emergency response.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹43,000.00 per month
