Location: Factory Office at Kalher, which is 6 kms from Kapurwadi, Thane

Reporting To: Manager / Senior Manager – Fabric Procurement

Functional Reporting To: AVP – Fabric

Job Purpose To lead and manage the entire fabric procurement cycle, from yarn to finished fabric, for a textile export business that outsources all operations. The role involves overseeing sourcing, quality control, vendor management, and process coordination for greige, processed, and finished fabrics (specifically for bed linen), while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality and cost standards.

Fabric Sourcing & Procurement

Identify and manage vendors for greige, dyed, printed, and finished fabrics. Develop reliable sources, negotiate terms, and forecast requirements.

Technical Expertise & Fabric Knowledge

Deep knowledge of yarn, fabric construction, finishes, lab dips, and pre-production samples.

Vendor & Process Management

Coordinate with mills and process houses, monitor timelines, ensure quality, and resolve issues.

Order & Process Management





Manage end-to-end fabric orders and coordinate with teams to meet export deadlines.

Team Leadership

Build, mentor, and develop the procurement team.

Reporting & Coordination

Maintain MIS reports, vendor records, and management updates.

Travel & Autonomy

Travel independently for audits and approvals while working proactively.

Required Qualifications & Experience

· Graduate/Postgraduate in Textile Engineering or similar domain.

· 10–15 years of experience in textile/fabric procurement, preferably in exports.

· Strong technical knowledge from yarn to finished fabric.

· Exposure to home textiles (especially bed sheets).

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, procurement software, and ERP systems.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹81,000.00 per month
