Role Summary

Drive current business for DB Canvas* by selling custom brand solutions built on Dainik Bhaskar's unmatched reach into Hindi heartland India. This is a hunting role for someone who is energized by aggressive targets, closing large deals, and building relationships with brands and agencies who want genuine access to tier 2/3/4 Hindi-speaking consumers.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and manage an active pipeline of brand and agency prospects across categories FMCG, BFSI, auto, real estate, durables and more.

- Pitch and close deals for custom content, branded IPs and on-ground activations and 360-degree solutions.

- Own an aggressive, quarter-on-quarter revenue target — this is a numbers-accountable role.

- Partner closely with the Ideation & Strategy team to turn client briefs into sharp, winning proposals.





- Build and nurture senior stakeholder relationships at brands and media agencies operating in or targeting the Hindi heartland.

- Track category and competitive intelligence to identify white-space opportunities across DB's markets.

What We're Looking For

- 12+ years in media/ad sales, brand solutions sales, or agency business development.

- Strong negotiation and closing skills; track record of hitting aggressive revenue targets.

- Existing relationships with brand marketers and media agency planning/buying teams is a strong plus.

- Working understanding of the Hindi/regional media landscape and heartland consumer behaviour.

- Entrepreneurial hustle and resilience — comfortable prospecting, pitching and closing with minimal hand-holding.
