Job Summary

SS Mahindra is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Spare Parts Manager to manage spare parts operations at our dealership in Vazhayila, Trivandrum. The ideal candidate should have strong inventory management skills, knowledge of automobile spare parts, and the ability to ensure efficient parts availability, sales, and departmental profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall spare parts department and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure the availability of fast-moving and critical spare parts.
- Monitor spare parts sales, stock movement, inventory turnover, and departmental profitability.
- Ensure timely ordering, procurement, and replenishment of spare parts.
- Coordinate with the service department, body shop, sales team, and suppliers to meet operational requirements.
- Monitor goods receipt, parts issuance, stock transfers, and inventory records.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Minimize obsolete, excess, and slow-moving stock.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and handling of spare parts.
- Supervise and guide spare parts executives and store personnel.
- Monitor pending orders, back orders, returns, warranty parts, and supplier claims.
- Prepare and analyse daily,



monthly, and periodic performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and inventory control procedures.

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant experience in automobile spare parts management.
- Experience in managing spare parts operations at an automobile dealership.
- Solid knowledge of inventory control, procurement, stock management, and parts sales.
- Experience in team handling, vendor coordination, and departmental target achievement.
- Mahindra dealership experience will be an added advantage.

Required Skills
- Strong inventory management and analytical skills.
- Good communication and team leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of automobile spare parts and catalogue systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage stock accuracy and achieve departmental targets.
