Role: South Indian Chef

Experience: 3–6 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, uttapam, sambar, rasam, and chutneys.

- Manage daily kitchen operations and food preparation.

- Prepare and maintain dosa batter, idli batter, and other ingredients.

- Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of food.

- Plan menus and suggest new South Indian dishes.

- Manage kitchen inventory, stock levels, and ingredient requirements.

- Follow FIFO practices and minimize food wastage.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

- Ensure compliance with food safety standards.

- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service.

- Monitor portion sizes and maintain recipe consistency.

- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.





- Check the quality and freshness of raw materials.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of authentic South Indian cuisine.

- Expertise in dosa, idli, vada, uttapam, sambar, and chutney preparation.

- Knowledge of batter preparation and fermentation techniques.

- Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.

- Good time management and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work under pressure during peak hours.

- Knowledge of inventory management and FIFO.

- Creativity, attention to detail, and consistency in food quality.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
