Job Summary

We are looking for a technically skilled Solar Engineer with 3–4 years of relevant experience in solar power systems, project execution, design or technical engineering. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of current solar technologies, modern PV modules, inverter systems, solar performance analysis and emerging solutions such as Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

The candidate should be able to evaluate solar technologies, support technical decisions, coordinate project activities and contribute to efficient and reliable solar project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate current solar technologies, including N-type TOPCon, bifacial modules and high-efficiency PV solutions.
- Support solar system design, technical evaluation, equipment selection and performance estimation.
- Work with string/central inverters, DC/AC systems, module string sizing, earthing and electrical protection.
- Support rooftop and ground-mounted Solar EPC projects, including site assessment, installation, testing and commissioning.
- Analyse solar generation, system losses, performance ratio (PR), capacity utilisation and equipment performance.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, project execution, vendors and site teams.
- Assist in evaluating solar-plus-storage solutions, BESS integration and hybrid solar systems.




- Prepare and review technical documents, BOQs, SLDs, site reports and commissioning documentation as applicable.
- Identify technical issues and recommend improvements in system performance, safety and reliability.
- Stay updated on solar technology developments, equipment trends and relevant industry practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Renewable Energy or a related engineering discipline.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in Solar EPC, solar design, technical engineering or project execution.
- Practical understanding of solar PV modules, including TOPCon, bifacial and conventional module technologies.
- Knowledge of string inverters, solar system sizing, DC/AC design, electrical protection and earthing.
- Familiarity with solar performance analysis, generation estimation and project documentation.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or PVsyst is preferred, depending on previous role.
- Basic understanding of BESS, ESS and hybrid solar systems.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with C&I; rooftop or ground-mounted solar projects.
- Exposure to SCADA, solar monitoring systems, performance ratio analysis and commissioning.
- Familiarity with current solar module and inverter technologies.




- Knowledge of HT/LT systems, grid connectivity and utility coordination is an advantage.

Compensation ₹40,000–₹45,000 per month, depending on relevant experience, technical skills and interview performance.

Work Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Travel Requirement: The role is primarily based in Chennai. Occasional travel to other branches and the company’s main branch in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, may be required for technical coordination, project reviews, and operational support.

Note: Candidates should be comfortable with occasional inter-branch travel as per business requirements.
