Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Software Testing Intern to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in software quality, application testing, and identifying software defects.

As a Software Testing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in manual testing, test case preparation, bug reporting, and quality assurance processes. You will work closely with developers and other team members to ensure that applications meet quality standards and provide a smooth user experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and report software bugs and defects.
- Perform functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing.
- Verify application functionality against specified requirements.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve reported issues.
- Maintain test documentation and bug reports.
- Participate in software testing reviews and team discussions.
- Assist in validating bug fixes and ensuring application stability.
- Learn and follow software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.

Skills and Qualifications
- Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.
- Knowledge of manual testing and the software testing life cycle (STLC) is an advantage.
- Understanding of test cases, test scenarios, and bug reporting.




- Basic knowledge of web applications and mobile applications.
- Positive analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Willingness to learn new testing tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or course in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is a plus.
- Basic understanding of automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools is an advantage.
