Social Media Marketing Intern

Beyond Folks is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should have an interest in social media trends, content creation, digital marketing, and brand communication. This role offers hands-on experience in managing social media accounts, planning content, and supporting digital marketing campaigns for brands across different industries.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in managing social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
- Support monthly content calendar planning, including post ideas, captions, reels, stories, and creative concepts.
- Research social media trends, trending audio, hashtags, and competitor activities.
- Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and content creators to execute social media plans.
- Write engaging captions and assist with content creation and scheduling.
- Monitor social media performance, engagement, reach, and audience interactions.
- Assist in preparing social media reports and tracking content performance.
- Support influencer marketing campaigns and other digital marketing activities.
- Ensure content aligns with client requirements, brand guidelines, and campaign objectives.

Requirements:





- Strong interest in social media marketing, content creation, and digital trends.
- Good communication and basic writing skills.
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Familiarity with Canva and social media management tools is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Students or fresh graduates in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, or related fields.
- Previous internship experience or a personal social media portfolio is an added advantage.
