Lakhotia College of Design is looking for a highly creative and proactive Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy, create engaging content and strengthen our brand presence across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage monthly social media strategies and content calendars.
- Manage Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
- Plan creative Reels, campaigns, student stories, campus content and promotional activities.
- Design social media creatives using Canva and maintain brand consistency.
- Research trends, competitors, content formats and audience behaviour.
- Perform basic video editing using CapCut or similar tools.
- Coordinate with designers, video editors, photographers and student content creators.
- Track reach, engagement, follower growth, enquiries and campaign performance.
- Analyse insights and improve content strategy based on results.
- Support admissions campaigns, college events,



course launches and brand-building initiatives.
- Guide the content team and take ownership of social media growth.

Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant social media experience preferred.
- Strong creativity, visual sense and content ideation skills.
- Good working knowledge of Canva is essential.
- Basic video editing skills using CapCut or similar software.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Reels, content strategy and digital trends.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and performance reporting.
- Good communication, copywriting and organisational skills.
- Candidates from creative backgrounds such as Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media, Advertising or Digital Content Creation are preferred.
- Ability to work independently, experiment with ideas and take ownership.
