Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Shop Manager to manage sales, purchasing, inventory, customer relationships, and daily branch operations for an engineering spares and industrial products trading business. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in industrial product sales, B2B business development, inventory management, and branch operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day shop and branch operations, including sales, purchasing, stock control, and distribution.
- Handle sales and marketing of bearings, V-belts, conveyor belts, pumps, compressors, welding machines, and other industrial machinery spares.
- Develop B2B customer relationships with industrial clients, workshops, factories, contractors, and distributors.
- Identify new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
- Manage inventory, stock replenishment, purchasing, pricing,



and product availability.
- Coordinate logistics and stock distribution between branches.
- Monitor customer accounts, debtors, collections, and outstanding payments.
- Maintain petty cash, daily cash sales records, and payment reconciliations.
- Generate sales invoices and maintain transaction records using Marg ERP 9+ or similar ERP software.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance reports.
- Supervise sales and store activities and ensure effective team performance.
- Ensure proper documentation, accurate stock records, and timely reporting to management.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in engineering spares, industrial products, bearings, power transmission products, or machinery parts trading.
- Strong B2B sales, customer handling, and business development skills.
- Good knowledge of bearings, belts, pumps, compressors, conveyor systems, and industrial equipment.
- Experience in inventory control, purchasing, stores, and supply chain coordination.
- Knowledge of debtors, collections, cash handling, and sales invoicing.
- Experience with Marg ERP 9+ or similar ERP/accounting software.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage shop operations independently and achieve business targets.
