We are looking for a qualified and experienced Shift Chemist to oversee laboratory operations, quality control, and process monitoring during the assigned shift. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials, in-process products, and finished dairy products meet the company's quality standards and applicable food safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct routine chemical and quality tests on incoming milk, raw materials, in-process samples, and finished dairy products.

- Monitor key quality parameters such as fat, SNF, acidity, pH, and other relevant dairy testing parameters.

- Ensure compliance with established quality standards, SOPs, and food safety requirements.

- Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, and shift-wise quality documentation.

- Monitor production processes and promptly report any quality deviations to the concerned departments.

- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and hygienic handling of laboratory equipment.

- Coordinate with Production, QA, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.

- Ensure proper handover of pending tests,



observations, and quality concerns to the incoming shift.

- Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laboratory.

Required Skills

- Practical knowledge of dairy laboratory testing and quality control procedures.

- Familiarity with laboratory instruments, chemical analysis, and testing methods.

- Robust observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and work independently during shifts.

- Willingness to work in a rotational shift system.

Experience:

- 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Chemist in the dairy industry is mandatory.

Additional Requirements:

- Must be willing to work in a rotational shift system.

- Must be willing to reside near the Dhaniyakhali plant for smooth shift operations and timely reporting.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
