Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in custom application development on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing, developing, configuring, and implementing custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine, App Engine Studio, ServiceNow Studio, and JavaScript.

The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable business applications, automating workflows, integrating ServiceNow with external systems, and delivering solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and implement custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
- Build custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine, App Engine Studio, and ServiceNow Studio.
- Develop and maintain scoped applications, custom tables, forms, modules, and application components.
- Write and maintain client-side and server-side scripts using JavaScript.
- Work with Glide APIs, including GlideRecord, GlideSystem, GlideAjax, and GlideForm, as applicable.
- Configure Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes,



and Access Control Rules (ACLs).
- Develop automated workflows using Flow Designer and other ServiceNow automation capabilities.
- Create custom user interfaces using Service Portal, UI Builder, or other relevant ServiceNow UI technologies.
- Integrate ServiceNow applications with third-party systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and IntegrationHub, where applicable.
- Implement role-based access control, data security, and application-level permissions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and defect resolution.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow ServiceNow development best practices.
- Support application deployment across development, test, and production environments using update sets or appropriate application deployment methods.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- Solid hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
- Experience in custom application development on the ServiceNow platform.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow App Engine and App Engine Studio.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with Glide APIs, GlideRecord, Script Includes, Business Rules, and Client Scripts.
- Experience developing scoped applications, custom tables, forms, and modules.
- Knowledge of Flow Designer and workflow automation.
- Understanding of ServiceNow security, ACLs, and role-based access control.
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and web services.
- Good understanding of application lifecycle management and deployment processes.
