Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Winder to handle the rewinding, repair, and maintenance of industrial electrical motors, transformers, and associated electrical equipment. The candidate will be responsible for executing winding jobs, supervising winding technicians, ensuring workmanship quality, and completing assigned jobs within the stipulated timelines while following safety and quality standards.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Perform rewinding of HT, LT, and DC motors, including stator, rotor, armature, and field coils.
- Execute winding work for power and distribution transformers and industrial electromagnets as required.
- Dismantle and inspect electrical machines to identify winding damage and insulation failures.
- Record existing winding data, including coil dimensions, wire size, number of turns, winding connections, and coil pitch.
- Prepare winding layouts and follow technical drawings, winding diagrams, and specifications.
- Carry out coil manufacturing, winding, shaping, moulding, taping, pressing, and insulation-related activities.
- Select appropriate winding wire, insulation materials,



and consumables as per technical specifications.
- Perform coil fitting, connection, brazing, soldering, and lead termination wherever required.
- Ensure proper insulation, impregnation, varnishing, and curing of windings as per the applicable process.
- Supervise and guide junior winders and winding technicians to ensure quality and productivity.
- Coordinate with the production supervisor and testing team to complete jobs as per the work schedule.
- Identify winding defects and support corrective actions to prevent rework and recurring failures.
- Ensure proper handling of stators, rotors, coils, and other electrical components during repair and rewinding.
- Maintain winding records, material consumption details, job cards, and production reports.
- Follow workplace safety procedures, equipment-handling practices, and company quality standards.
- Ensure timely completion of winding jobs without compromising workmanship or technical specifications.

Educational Qualifications

- ITI in Electrician or Wireman trade preferred.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering will be an advantage.
- Candidates with robust hands-on experience in industrial motor and transformer rewinding may also be considered.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
