About the Role

At Ibtida Ek Mehfil, design moves — literally.

We are looking for a Motion & Environment Designer who works across dimensions—2D, 3D, digital, and spatial—to bring culture to life through moving images, cinematic animations, and experiential visual environments.

From designing the intro of a baithak film to creating immersive 3D renders of a tomb-inspired stage—this role demands a visual composer who understands movement, mood, and meaning.

- Post-Production & Editing: Assemble, edit, and cut raw video footage into polished, engaging content—including event highlight reels, teasers, social media reels, and client recaps.
- Storytelling & Pacing: Create visually compelling narrative structures with seamless transitions, precise rhythm, and creative pacing aligned with sound tracks and brand identity.
- Motion Graphics & Typography: Design and integrate dynamic motion graphics, lower thirds, titles, animated logos, and lower-third graphics into video deliverables.

- Audio Post-Production: Select appropriate background music, balance audio levels, perform sound design, and edit voiceovers/sound effects for maximum emotional impact.
- Color Grading & Visual Finishing: Apply professional color correction and color grading to ensure consistent visual aesthetics across diverse lighting conditions from live event environments.
- Multi-Format Output: Export, format, and optimize video assets for diverse digital channels, including Instagram Reels/Stories, YouTube, LinkedIn, and high-res client presentations.
- Media Asset Management: Organize and archive raw footage, project files, and finished deliverables on central drives to ensure seamless team retrieval.
- On-Site Collaboration: Work closely with the creative, marketing, and ground production teams to align on creative briefs and occasionally assist with video capture guidelines during key live events.
