About Fitupco Fitupco Pvt. Ltd. is building an AI-powered Applicant Tracking System (ATS) designed to streamline recruitment, candidate screening, resume analysis, interview management, and hiring workflows. We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer who can take ownership of software quality, test automation, and end-to-end validation of our SaaS web application.

Role Overview The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in web application testing, automation frameworks, API testing, and SaaS product quality assurance. The candidate should be capable of independently identifying defects, designing comprehensive test scenarios, automating critical workflows, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and UI/UX teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for our SaaS-based ATS application.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Automate critical user journeys across different roles, permissions, and workflows.
- Test modules such as job creation, candidate applications, resume parsing, candidate ranking, interview scheduling, interviewer scorecards, recruitment pipelines, and reporting dashboards.
- Validate role-based access control for Super Admins, Organization Admins, HR teams, Hiring Managers, Coordinators, Interviewers, Companies, Agencies, and Candidates.
- Perform API testing and validate backend responses, database transactions, and integrations.
- Test AI-powered features, including resume analysis, candidate-job matching, ranking, and AI-generated interview feedback.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Conduct cross-browser, responsive UI,



and compatibility testing.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, investigate root causes, and prevent recurring defects.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, automation reports, and release-readiness assessments.
- Establish QA standards and improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and product reliability.

Required Technical Skills

- 4–6+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, including automation testing.
- Strong experience testing SaaS-based web applications.
- Proficiency in at least one automation framework, preferably Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience with Git, defect tracking, test management, and CI/CD tools.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote team and take end-to-end ownership of QA activities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience testing ATS, HRTech, recruitment, CRM, or other complex SaaS platforms.
- Exposure to AI-powered applications, LLM integrations, resume parsing, and AI-generated content validation.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Knowledge of performance, security, and accessibility testing.
- Experience creating reusable automation frameworks and maintaining automated regression suites.
