Designation: Manager CAPEX

Reporting To: Chief Manager

Job Purpose To support the CAPEX and Fixed Asset Governance function by assisting in project monitoring, management reporting, fixed asset tracking, capital expenditure analysis, physical verification activities, compliance monitoring, and process improvement initiatives. The role provides exposure to manufacturing finance, project controls, and capital investment management.

Key Responsibilities

1. CAPEX Monitoring & Project Support

Ø Assist in tracking approved CAPEX projects across plants and functions. Ø Prepare project-wise budget versus actual expenditure reports.

Ø Maintain CAPEX trackers and project milestone dashboards.

Ø Follow up with project teams for status updates and required documentation.

Ø Support preparation of project review presentations.

1. CWIP Monitoring

Ø Track project-wise CWIP balances Ø Follow up with User teams for supporting documents

Ø Prepare CWIP ageing reports and identify overdue items

Ø Support timely transfer of eligible CIP to CWIP to Fixed Assets

1. Management Reporting & MIS

Ø Prepare monthly MIS reports related to CAPEX utilization. Ø Assist in preparation of Board and ExCom presentations.

Ø Compile data relating to project progress, budget utilization and project delays.

Ø Develop and maintain dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or ERP reports.

Ø Generate periodic reports as required by management.

1. Fixed Asset Governance

Ø Maintain and update Fixed Asset databases and trackers. Ø Support review of Fixed Asset Register (FAR).





Ø Assist in tracking capitalization readiness of completed assets.

Ø Coordinate asset tagging and asset master data validation.

Ø Support monitoring of asset movements across locations.

1. Working Capital & Open Commitment Tracking

Ø Prepare reports on open purchase orders and advances. Ø Monitor pending deliveries against advance payments.

Ø Follow up with procurement and project teams for closure of old outstanding items.

Ø Support preparation of quarterly capital cash flow forecasts.

1. Compliance & Audit

Ø Assist during internal, statutory and IFC audits. Ø Prepare schedules, reports and documents required for audits.

Ø Track closure status of audit observations.

Ø Maintain documentation related to CAPEX approvals and project records.

1. Business Partnering

Ø Assist in review of CAPEX proposals and investment requests. Ø Compile project cost information and supporting data.

Ø Support analysis of project performance and asset utilization.

Ø Prepare data for post-investment review exercises.

Education Qualification and skills

ØCA with upto 3 Years of experience strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Ø Positive analytical and problem-solving skills

Ø Basic understanding of accounting and finance concepts

Ø Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage

Ø Exposure to Oracle is preferred

Ø Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
