Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patients’ clinical conditions regularly.
- Operate and monitor ICU equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist during resuscitation.
- Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, and ICU documentation.
- Follow infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
- Coordinate with doctors and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Ensure proper handover of patient information during shift changes.
- Guide junior nursing staff and support smooth ICU operations.
