Job Title: Senior Graph Data Engineer (Neo4j / Cypher)

Location: Remote

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 6 Months

Work Type: Remote

Woking Hours - EST time zone (Either 2:00p.m to 10:00p.m IST / 5:30p.m to 2:30 IST)

- Hands-on graph engineer responsible for implementing the graph data layer, including data modeling, ingestion, and performance optimization. Baxter is seeking programmers (Cypher), not administrators.
- The new hire will have strong internal support,



including a lead with ~15 years of Neo4j experience and two advanced team members.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of data engineering experience
- Strong, demonstrable hands-on Neo4j experience (programming, not administration)
- Expertise in graph data modeling (nodes, relationships, indexing strategies)
- Proficiency in the Cypher query language
- Experience handling structured and unstructured data sources
- Knowledge of data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Familiarity with APIs and/or event-driven ingestion
- Experience working in AWS environments

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement graph data models
- Integrate multiple data sources into the graph platform
- Optimize query performance and scalability
- Collaborate on integration with the Subscription Worker
